Then you have one of the largest outdoor drinking venues in the city at Bohemian Hall & Beer Garden. This is a relic from a time when New York had over 800 beer gardens.
Built in 1910 by Czechs and Slovaks who had emigrated from Austria-Hungary, this venue has become even bigger, but it’s still firmly committed to having a good time.
They have beers like Hofbrau Summer Ale, Schofferhofer, Sam Adams Summer Ale, Abita Purple Haze, Spaten Oktoberfest and Angry Orchard, as well as some Oktoberfest special beers.
Expect live music and giant mugs of frothy goodness between Sept. 26 to Oct. 11. Also, expect lots of hipsters, because not everything can stay the same from 1910.
Raucous fun and an excuse to put off hibernating for just one more month? Sounds wunderbar to us.
